Subject: Re: long distance relationships (LDR)

Mechanicville, NY
LDRs are a good way to learn how to communicate well - as has been discussed here already. It depends on serious the relationship is to you. If you really want this then you will use your computers, cell phone, facebook, smoke signals whatever to keep communicating. You don't have to entertain each other - just talk, think, discuss, laugh. You aren't teenagers. What does each of you want out of this relationship? What is the best way to attain it? You don't have to be witty and charming all the time - just be yourself and tell about your day, the farm, work, plans to do this and that next year, etc. Write to each other on paper- letters about what you are thinking, how you feel why you really like each other what made you fall for each other. Learn to become comfortable in the silence. Sometimes a comfortable silence exemplifies the greatest joy.
