Farmington, Mo | We built the platform and frame as a stand alone skid. It can be picked up with a set of forks and placed on another trailer.
We ran it without the front platform last year. We figured out we liked to stand on a platform that sits on top of the side rails of a pickup box typically. Its made so you can step down from the landing platform to the operator platform then directly down onto the truck bed platform.
I have about $3000 in steel and about $1500 in the trailer. About $50 in paint and about $1000 in pump, tank and plumbing….and about 100+ man hours in fabrication.
It works for us…still more mods to make I’m sure.
Just thought this may help some of you who are new to spray drones and are looking for an alternative to the high dollar off the shelf trailers.
