From my post above:

For ALL grease and oil stains on clothes I use Suave Clarifying Shampoo rubbed in real well. I let it sit for a few hours if I can too. Shampoo is full of grease cutters and it kills grease and oil. It is super cheap at Walmart - 1.48 a bottle here. I suggest you try it. At the first sign of grease put a blob right on. It smells clean - not girly. It will definately take care of teh popcorn oil and grease.

2. You can add a good slug of good old fashioned ammonia to the wash water with no problem. Ammonia is cheap and is also a very effective grease cutter.

Pretreat his clothes with the Suave shampoo and let sit for a while then wash a usual with a slug of ammonia in the wash water. If they are really greasy you may have to do it again but not likely. :)
