| If you don't have a hotel yet and want to save some money over the downtown hotels last summer we stayed at the Casino Queen which is almost directly across the river from the arch and rooms there were less than half the cost of rooms on the Missouri side of the river but it's still only a two or three minute drive from the arch and other downtown attractions. We had a good view of the arch and the river but the river level was high enough at the time there wasn't much river traffic to watch. I think we paid around $110 a night for a nice room and since we were between the river and the casino there was almost no traffic noise. | |
