Subject: Well said, Pokey.

Crawford County, Robinson, Illinois

I have often said I would never want to re-live my life under today's conditions.

You expressed yourself well, the advantages of today are overwhelmed by the disadvantages of today.

I wouldn't have made a very good pioneer, and would have problems succeeding in today's society.  My generation was a good one, full of opportunity, hope, and open to lots of possibilities.

However, all times are good times, if we but know what to do with them.

I do appreciate the humor in the previous post, and we must remember that it is humor, not fact.

Every generation has opportunity, hope, and is open to lots of possibilities. But, every generation is different, and must be lived differently.

I am convinced, as I see the young men and women of today, that they will rise to meet the challenges of a changing society and find happiness and success.

Just as in the past, some will find a good life, and some will fail.

The world changes, and the world remains the same.
