Subject: Does anyone finish lambs with corn silage?

Eastern SD
Considering going to a tmr for feeding lambs instead of the self feeder I'm on now. Would use corn silage, whole corn, soy hulls, ddgs, and alfalfa. Does anyone do this? How does growth/cost compare to self feeder? What little bit of info I've been able to find says that if you keep forage under 25% of ration it shouldn't effect DM intake. I pulled my ewe lambs off of self feeder and put them on a tmr for slow growth to keep them for breeding and the overall health has been quite a bit better than the wethers I left on the self feeder. Got me to thinking maybe I should go tmr route for finishing too. Any info is appreciated thanks
