I only did it one year. Early frosted corn dressed with some ground barley. Too much roughage made the avg daily gain go down. Probably was cheaper to put the lbs on. But I also worked a full time job. Silage took time I didn’t have.
Nothing conclusive. I just like the self feeders better.
Does anyone finish lambs with corn silage?
