Plus I never ever have seen planting pop = harvest pop. With the variablity in wet areas trying to compute yields by field checks is a futile effort at best. Plus seed counts can vary from 110,000 to 70,000 pretty easily. Nice ears, good pics and I'm sure a good crop, but it's pretty early to be predicting yield on blistering corn.


I didn't say planting pop would be harvest pop. I said earlier in the thread my planting pop was 35,500 and harvest pop will be around 34,500 on all the checks I have done. All of my corn came up in 4 days and the only thing that didn't emerge was the kernels that didn't germ.

We had wet areas just as bad last year if not worse and my yield checks were very accurate.
