Subject: Re: Wheat Hedge?

Texas
I pulled the trigger on some puts about 2 weeks ago...(keep in mind that I am using the July KCBT)...they were costing about $.11 at the time, and now they are @ about $.20...I am wanting to stay @ "true hedge", so things are deductible in the event that things go south for me...
The good news, for me, is [if] the puts that I bought become worthless, or less valuable, then KCBT has gone up, making [the crop]more at the elevator; so it is not a complete loss....

I still think that wheat, well maybe the whole market, is over-valued. I think I am going to buy some more KCBT July (N) or maybe even some May (K) puts. Ever noticed how some months are "out of sync" with the other months (under valued)? Sometimes I find a month that looks a little cheap, and go 'day trading' on that... Any more thoughts?
