SE Nebraska | Also have an RPS system in 150ft well. It was pretty good the first year. DId not like the fact that the cows drink at 6pm and 6 am so it didnt refill the stock tank for the morning drinking. Added some expensive GEL batteries sold by RPS and it seems the batteries dont have the capacity to keep up or the solar doesnt have the power to recharge the batteries in time. SOmething is not working quite right and RPS help, while helpful is extremely slow to respond to issues. Their help process is a LONG ordeal and can be frustrating to say the least. Thinking about ditching the batteries and going to a large storage tank next to the stock tank. When the solar is strong, i.e. lots of sunlight, it pumps extremely well. | |
