| I have a 200 foot well with a solar powered pump setup. I have been running it for 15 years with minimal issues. One idea I would stress is to consider storing water instead of power. Utilize bigger tanks and/or upright storage. I have a grundfos Solar pump. When the sun shines, it kicks on and runs ( no batteries required). I have a very simple float switch in the upright tank that shuts the pump off when it’s full. I have plenty of water storage in the upright and stock tank so that if the sun doesn’t shine I don’t have to worry about being short of water without battery power. Hasn’t failed me yet and I like not having to deal with battery storage. | |
