Subject: RE: Lidar for elevation?

Hi Joe and all!

We at GeoPard automatically download and process LIDAR data for any region in the US (where Lidar is available, most of corn/cotton belt, California, etc.).

We currently calculate: elevation, slope, aspect, TPI (concave or hillock), Ruggedness & Roughness Indices and some more models - check the blog post

the correlation of topography and multi-year crop development pattern

Also you can in 3 clicks create a 3d map of your field (overlay yield / Field Potential / Soil / any other layer on top of it).

Any map layer including satellite imagery or  LIDAR elevation can then be sent to the MyJohnDeere Ops center. We're the only company on the market who does it (obviously high complexity of the integration).

Solution is developing every day, check the latest Release Notes - many new features & improvements, including automated sync configuration with the MyJohnDeere Ops Center

We work close with JohnDeere tech & Innovation teams, check the press-release about launching of a dedicated portal for Farmers and Dealers utilizing MyJohnDeere Ops Center, just go to Connected Ops Center Portal sign up with "Sign Up with MyJohnDeere Account"  to get free trial on 250 acres.
