All that has been said, especially the age factor of producers. Cow-calf producers are the last of the Mohicans in ag.
Cow-calf is and always has been a retired farmers game. Way too many old guys with the farm paid off who just want to have a few cattle around to bid the price up high enough for a young guy with a family and a loan payment.
