Southeast MN | Can’t offer any comparisons or observations between brands but I bought one of these after my “gate monkey” went back to college. Overall happy with it except on windy days I need to use a piece of insulated wire to keep the wind from blowing it open.
Only had it since last fall but working like I had hoped it would.
Local feed store sells them direct from the factory.
