west central Iowa | We have a water wagon we use for filling sprayer and have also used for watering cattle. Instead of one 1000 gallon tank we used two 500 gallon upright tanks, that way each tank is up above an axle of the wagon gear so you don't need such strong stringers and a narrower wagon box will work, ours was an old flare box silage wagon. We never mounted the stock tank to the water wagon, just connected with a garden hose. That way you could leave stock tank full and take water wagon home to fill. Not hard to drag or haul poly stock tank in pickup to new location.
