| just in case anyone else is in my shoes, limited to slow dialup only and not wanting to spend the cash for Wild Blue/Agristar Sat service...........Sprint offers a wireless USB adapter that will plug into a Desktop PC or Laptop and allow wireless service if you are in their coverage area.
USB adapter with small antenna cost 49.99 after rebates now
monthly service which they claim requires a 2 year contract is 59.99 a month for unlimited usage.
i'm still checking to see if Verizon offers a similar device for use with their wireless and a Desktop PC. vi | |
