I am running ontrack 3 with InCommand 1200 and 1600 ant with the Omnistar.
It has been spot on for years-never felt need to go RTK. THis year I scouted and every field is near perfect-you would swear it was RTK. But ONE field-its crazy. I am not sure how I didn't notice it when planting but its all over the place-wondering as much as 10 inches on either side-looks like I did a poor job with markers.
I don't recall anything different when planting that field.
What could have happened?
I had something happen like that one day when someone started planting without wifi online, which took out NTRIP and effectively knocked the RTK down to WAAS. Is it possible there was an Omnistar outage? Or for some other reason the receiver was running on WAAS (or less)? |
