East Central, Nebraska | typically wondering is a steering issue and not a correction issue. did you work the ground funny? deep till it in the direction of the rows? many things it could be. often times though people combine guidance and correction issues. its hard to diagnose without you sitting in the field. i have a field that i could not figure out that was planted with rtk. i was certain it was not the correction service. after doing some research i found out that the field before it had a finisher ran on it was chiseled without guidance with the rows. my autosteer system didn't stand a chance. its possible that your situation is nothing like mine but i have sat on the phone for hundreds if not thousands of hours diagnosing similar problems before and its almost never at the fault of the correction source and almost always a steering system hardware or implement drift problem. i woudn't run to switching to something different until you can pinpoint it while running on the field. | |
