Subject: My Guess

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I'm not familiar with the Outback arrangement but I'm guessing the reason for the Outback question is so that it can operate properly for the different types of clutches.

If you are using Ag Leader planter clutches or most other brands of planter clutches you should choose inverse. This means the system should apply power/ground to the cutches so the disengage. Normally they are engaged.

If you were using the Outback with a Great Plains planter with their clutch system or a sprayer, then I believe you would choose direct. This means the system should apply power/ground to the clutches so they engage. Normally they are not engaged or open.
