Milford, IL
What you are suggesting will likely involve manually swapping hardware and a ton of headaches.

Can clone a hard drive with Macrium Reflect or, if you buy a Samsung brand drive, you can use their proprietary data migration software to copy your old software into the new drive.

Then install that new cloned drive into the new PC and hope all the drivers are available somewhere to make the hardware work with the software. How well this works will depend on the age of your current machine.

Maybe a better plan with less headaches - clone the hard drive to a new SSD style hard drive. Keep the cloned SSD in a safe place as a backup. Keep using the old computer for the software only, disconnected from the internet. Buy a new machine for everyday use.
