C IL | You are probably right; I don’t know, I don’t even have a 107 but it seems clear the law is going to have to evolve to catch up with technological possibilities. Jetson’s here we come.
I personally don’t need a fixed wing aircraft to be out of line of sight up front, you can mount a catapult and a wire on towers on a trailer.
I just don’t see the point in watching a drone 15’ off the ground fly around when you aren’t going to do anything anyway - it would be like watching a Roomba, fun for the first 10 minutes then I have stuff to do. That is why I think an automated dock to charge and refill chem solution makes sense. If I have to babysit it I can do it faster for most soil traffic conditions here with a ground rig.
Again, I’m told all the deconfliction algorithms and tech exists to keep things from flying into each other, there are solutions to many conceivable issues. |
