These pics are just from last night. The weather here has been terrible with wind and cold. We are 9 inches away from all time record 101 for snowfall. Last night had 15-20 mph wind with temp at 0 to -5. If they didn’t get up in 15 minutes and suck they were not going to live. Had 32 calves in last 24 hrs only lost 1 so happy bout that must had bag over since when I found it it was all wet and steaming yet. Brought lot of pairs in but also was just grabbing calves and throwing them in the heated barn think ended up with 15 calves in plus the pairs. Even the couple day old calves that were good now have frozen ears also. Caught some and duct taped their ears to their neck. Kicked bunch out this morning and took calves back to mommas and they all paired up nice. Still cold today but no wind and the sun is out so feels great. Tomorrow suppose to get to 34.
