I don't know the answer to your question but we have that exact wagon. We had an 800# steer get it front leg tangled up in the hitch and messed it up pretty bad, he ended up with a club foot and we are him and also had a cows head stuck in the side and killed her. It's still here but hasn't been used in years. Probably work s fine at anybody else's place.
The only serious injury or death that I can attribute to our feeder wagon like that, was a rollover incident. The wagon was heavily loaded with corn silage(they sell galvanized panels that hang on the feeder slats to create a hopper for silage), and was being pulled through the group of bulls and steers to the feeding location. Somehow through the horseplay around the moving wagon, an 800-pound Jersey bull went under one of the rear wheels. It went over his head, and killed him outright. |
