NW IA | 40 SF / head inside, so 20 head would have ample room.
My personal preference is to have the critters eating outside and away from the building, it keeps the bedding so much drier. But in my situation that is easy because I use self-feeders.
My building is 40 X 80. 2 pens with 40-45 head in them when full. The floor outside is 30 feet with a curb.
