jackson county WI | Not sure about the amount of annual precipitation in your area but a 40x40 shed is plenty of room for 20hd. I would spend the money on cement in the shed and and some type of cement apron out front for feed wagon/loader to feed with. You could just pour your own curd for feed, I highly advise not buying any type of precast bunk unless you like running a shovel. Only pen I would build outdoor would be just area to kick them out on to clean the pen. That size set up would easily hold 30-40hd if she decides to put more in. Jmo
