It doesn't see my network at all. It sees the networks that are within range! My work laptop can see my network and connect perfectly. The only way my laptop gets connected to the internet is via the ethernet cable. When I disconnect it I get no internet. When I take my laptop elsewhere I can connect to the internet wirelessly. so it just can't "talk" to my new router but every other device does!
