Subject: RE: So what to do about losing the ground?

Glasgow, Ky

Based on my experiences in life the truth of the matter is probably somewhere in the middle.  Things are typically not as they first appear.  If you can talk to the landlord in a calm and rational manner and find out how this all came about it would probably do you good.

When talking to him put a positive spin on things and let him know you are still interested in leasing the land the next time the lease comes up.  Hopefully you can find out the landlords take on what transpired.  If you can do that you will know if it is worthwile to approach the farmer who rented the land.  Most likely it won't be.  Especially if you are still in the hunt in renting the land back.

The old saying "Don't burn any bridges" is sound business practice along with "Forgive and forget".  Many times negative things have a way of becoming positives if we can get over our anger.
