southern MN | Never saw one of my cats mess with a snake - few garter snakes around here.
The couple part rat terriers we've had like to kill anything, funny to see them with a snake. They try to shake it like a squirrel or rabbit, and it whips them in the back of the head. Just ticks the dog off, would spend a 1/2 hour trying to kill it - was dead already in the first 5 minutes.
