The 1,100 - 1,200 degree temps would have been Pre-Turbo. It's been a while since we had an 855 bc. Maybe it was to stay below 1,000 degrees is the safe zone. 1,100 degrees for short periods with a careful operator and 1,200 degrees was close to meltdown. Like said it's been a while since we were running those, a couple were putting out quite a bit over factory rating and never had a problem with them.
