Thanks for all the responses and the help.

I researched the bpt and found it’s not compatible with npt.

It is in fact 7/8. Deere has a part number and I got their barb, but the hose just twists around the barb no matter how tight I clamp it.

The solution today was taking a 3/4 npt nipple and grinding it down until I could cram the hose over it. Doesn’t leak and doesn’t twist.
