| I believe it. There are reports of brain damage, dental problems, hair loss, and more. Think I was on it a few months before getting concerned about side effects. The dr gave a choice between Gabapentin or an opioid based pain killer. Didn’t want to risk an addiction and since the pain was hurting my recovery I decided on the Gabapentin. At first it seemed to help lessen the pain.
I won’t bother going into the gory and painful details but I won’t touch that stuff ever again. Went through some real hell and lots of dr visits. Pretty scary to nearly die from one thing and then to experience additional hell from the very medication prescribed. | |
