S. Iowa | It’s a thought. Again only on the steepest 20% of the farm. That could change, depending on the bid from USDA. I understand the disdain for CRP from many; I share it in some circumstances. I want our tenant to be successful; and taking the most challenging acres out of the equation would be a net benefit to that, and will enable us to reinvest more into improvements like tile. Hay/hooves won’t come close to competing with CRP from a return standpoint, unfortunately. | |
