GPS degree heading should be the same in all GPS, regardless of the price or who makes it.

It is not possible to draw straight parallel lines on a spherical Earth. Different companies fudge it different ways.

You can make the same A+ line in a Trimble system and a Deere system. Both systems will leave the exact same A point at the exact same heading and first A+ line will match up perfectly between systems. Once you get 20+ passes away from the original line and a ways down the field from the A point the lines don't match up anymore between systems. They compensate for the curvature of the Earth differently. Its a small difference but its big enough that you can't use one system to plant and the other system to follow the rows consistently.

From my understanding based on some threads in the last year everyone but Deere is more or less the same. They take the earth and make it flat and have a grid on it. Deere has all lines curved to come together at the north pole. Everyone but Deere can also use the same RTK tower from my understanding as well.
