| With the high grain prices the past couple of years, there is alot of money around and nobody likes to pay taxes. late year purchases usually make sense, to convert cash to a deductable expense .But with supply of equipment down and more cash than usual in the system, the buying frenzy is putting a premium price on most good equipment. There have been responses on here in various posts that rather than pay crazy prices or buy something you really don't need, just bite the bullet and pay the tax and be done with it. To me it looks like that is the case this year. looks like the premium prices will offset the tax savings. Looking for opinions on this from people smarter than me. Thanks | |
