it isn't that they aren't getting paid enough.. fjb taught them how to stay home and get money for nothing and aoc told them that if they didn't want to work they shouldn't have to. this behavior is now widespread throughout all manufacturing.
to little papa.. hope you get this figured out. I have had no such issues with mine which is only an 11 knife.
