Ohio | I posted last week about my dads 2016 Chevy 2500 having some transmission problems. The dealer drained the fluid. Got better for a week or so then went right back to not wanting to go to overdrive. Also acts like the torque converter is slipping. Looks like it will be getting a new tranny. Went to two different dealers. Kind of wanting to talk to someone higher up at GM. It’s irritating. Truck only has 60,000 miles on it and never pulled a much with it at all. I understand it’s out of warranty. But you Google it and it comes up right away that there is a problem. And when the dealer looks it up there is service bulletins for this exact problem. Which makes me believe there is a problem with that transmission from factory. You would think the manufacturer could help out some. Not expecting it for free but it should last longer than 60k. Oh well I guess. | |
