ECIL | When the bin sites were being auctioned there was a guy from 20 miles away that made a nifty cart to haul them with. Basically it was a hydraulic powered saddle he raised up and chained the upright bin to. Then he lowered it to horizontal and pulled it to it's new home. The bin had to be free at the bottom and a couple internal braces to keep its shape. Once at the new site he backed the trailer to the new pad, raised the saddle with bin, and set it on the pad. Real slick operation.
Mine are getting rusted out with a couple holes in the bottom ring below the drying floor on one and a small slit rusted a couple rings up on another. The pads weren't built with enough rebar or footing and are badly cracked. Every once in a while I get the feeling the bins are about to break apart. They are the old Blue Bonnet brand. | |
