Subject: RE: How long should a grain bin last?

Grandpas bins are all 15,000 bushels and the new bin is 20,0000 bushels. New bin has stiffeners and grandpas do not. Bin wrinkled at the top. Both Grandpas bin and the new bin have stirrers. Dealer installed stirrers with the bin and knew we were going to use them to dry corn. Grandpas bin has been stirring the same moisture corn for 5 times the amount of years as the new bin and grandpa's still have not wrinkled.
