South Texas | My dad had to have one. Still tries to use it, thinks he’s gonna grub out brush with it like we do with the dozers. It doesn’t work, because you’re pushing that corner with just one track, so only using half the machine.
It does work well for blading roads. It has skid shoes on the back side, so you control the aggressiveness/cut with the tilt, put a bunch of weight on it, almost lifting the front of the loader. While you can blade a road very flat with just a bucket, you end up taking out the crown over time. With the blade you can maintain the crown. | |
