The only thing on the head that could be considered necessary for contour master is having pto shafts with knuckles in them for driving the head.


The only other thing on the head that matters for contour master is the auto header height components.   You need at least 2 height sensors to run auto height with contour master, 3 is better.   

None of the hyd hoses on the head have anything to do with Contour master.     If a head has 2 hyd hoses in the single point hookup there is a 99% or better chance that they are for hyd deck plates UNLESS you see a corn reel or hyd drive cones on the end of the head.


As for looking things up by serial number that might tell you what it originally had, not necessarily what it all currently has.
