Same here, tube heater works great on non insulated concrete. It’s very fuel efficient if you keep it warm.

In fact I see very few of the shop floors poured with foam board underneath then in my neighborhood. Almost all shops use tube heat. It has a bad rap for cracking concrete and providing rat habitat.
