It's quite the hit. I get so much joy from it that it sustains me through the year!
There is a former hospital on the parade route in a residential neighborhood that is now a nursing home for individuals with special needs, and in the general area there are a couple more group homes for folks with different special needs. I'm not embarrassed to admit I can't help but shed tears driving that stretch of street. I can't begin to describe the pure unadulterated joy on their faces. If you could bottle that up, you could light a city with the power.
