i WOULD TAKE A 3 INCH END CAP AND DRILL A HOLE IN IT THE DIAMETER OF THE HYDRANT PIPE AND THEN CUT IT IN HALF AND PUT ON THE 3 INCH PIPE AND PUT A large hose clamp around it to hold it in place
This, only I'd use canned expanding foam to seal just below the top of the white pipe, with a scrap of styrofoam to start the plug, then glue the spit pipe cap on . If you don't have PVC cement around, then a pipe clamp will work great. I just see myself snagging it, maybe cover with electrical tape? Thin layer of concrete or mortar between the white and green at the top of the green, if you get to it. |
