coast of Maine | Now why if the tank was say 1/4 full and vapors filling the rest,how on earth would a fire extinguisher help that if a molten slag melted thru,you wouldnt know and the vapor would whoosh out and do you think it would not ignite,while you continued to weld?It would cause a flash fire and as sure as crap it would take the rest of the plastic tank..maybe not boom ,,but whoosh and you are in it,,burnt also.Do it outside at least and the neighbors can see a ball of flame running across the yard....Die a few weeks later ,,burns are the worst,,take it out,couple bolts on tank straps,couple slip connect fuel lines,will do you good to clean that area around fuel sending unit,,use fluid film on it before install. | |
