East of Broken Bow | My uncle bought a car in the late 1950s or very early 1960s for $16, and it ran. Put in new points and plugs, and drove it a couple years.
My first car was $200, drove it for 5 years with nothing but tune ups, brakes, and tires. Sold it for $150 to a guy that wanted the engine. That is $10 a year depreciation.
Now, looking for a car for my daughter, can't find anything that runs for under $1500, and those look and run worse than my $200 car after driving it 5 years. | |
