| From reading farm publications growing up, I felt like there was always a perfect farmer someplace somewhere that owns 2,000 acres of beautiful black soil free and clear, runs brand new equipment that gets traded off every year, lives in a brand new country house with a wrap around porch, sells the crop at the market peak every year, in a drought year rain patches always fall on his farm, and has time for picnics on the perfect lawn in front of the house with his beautiful thin wife. Does anyone actually live like this? | |
