| My shop put my 6710 on the dyno, PTO speed is 1850 and rated at 95hp at that speed, engine goes to 2200 I think. Mechanic said it was putting out 140hp, I think he must have had it up to full rpm and lugged to PTO speed to get that reading, when baling I usually run at PTO speed and shift down on the hills if I need to, does not seem to have much more power then my American 80 on the baler, but for me makes a nice baling rig. For testing purposes should it not be held at close to the no load rpm instead of fun up to full rpm and lugged to PTO speed? | |
