E.Central MN | My SIL is younger than her husband so she didn't get the latest Covid booster yet. She went to a Bible camp where they were doing quilting and cross stitching for several days. Got home and found out someone there had tested positive for Covid. A couple days later her husband (my brother) had it, fever, chills, upset stomach, fatigue. His doctor prescibed a bunch of pills for him to take, said they were like the ones the vets used to give cattle, yuk. I thought I was going to catch it, but just felt tired for a day or so and was sick to my stomach one day. Unless a person stays home and doesn't go near anyone, it's pretty hard to avoid some of the stuff that's going around. Navel oranges are super cheap at the grocery store, hopefully an orange a day will keep the flu/Covid/RSV away. I wonder if people laying on a warm sandy beach are coming down with this stuff... | |
