southern MN | That is interesting, brief look at the list I haven’t a clue on many of them, and say yea I can see that on others.
I assume the ban lasted a few weeks or months, and as such is understandable.
If it were an album burning, never play these songs for all eternity type of memo, that would not be cool.
Similar banning and knee jerk reactions happened amid recent events. (Some of these more recent reactions were much more damaging and permanent?)
Looking back after time, it seems silly, and to others it probably seemed silly or bad at the time.
I would think for a month or so if you lived in New York you probably didn’t want to hear, “Safe in New York” (whatever the song is actually about?) just because, well isn’t that self evident? And others on the list.
