West Central Iowa | Has the IRS requirement of a 6 ft + box length on a new pickup been eliminated? In years past the requirement to expense out a new pickup was 6001 lb GVWR and at least a 6 ft box, not accessible from the drivers/passenger area. Has it been changed to just the 6001 lb + GVWR? Searching the web I am seeing conflicting rules, but I am thinking some of the info may be outdated. My CPA did not seem to be aware of any box length requirement.
